A bit of sea, a bit of dirt and lots of taste: here is the perfect formula for a day on a quad bike on the Ligurian River.

Starting from Santo Stefano al Mare, in the province of Imperia, you will move throughcolorful villages, dirt roads and olive hills to a farm where anoil tasting and atraditional Ligurian lunch await you.

What will we do

The appointment is at 9:00 a.m.Santo Stefano al Mare, in the province ofImperia**. Upon arrival, theguide will provide you with all the necessary equipment -helmet, hygienic balaclav- and will give abriefing on the use of the quad bike and on safety regulations. We will then start in the direction ofImperia, along a panoramic stretch of the Aurelia that runs next to the sea, and then detour inland.

The first stop isValloria, known as the**"town of painted doors": a village that looks like an open-air museum. We will stop for a short visit and some photos among the colorful alleys. From here begins the most fun part of the route: adirt stretch among olive trees**, in one of the most famous areas for the production of Ligurian extra virgin olive oil.

We will then go up to Lucinasco, where we will stop at afarm to discover the secrets of Ligurian oil. We will visit themodern oil mill, discover how oil is produced and we will take a tour through the alleyways of the village, where two museums tell the story of the peasant life of the past.

Then comes the tastiest moment: a guided tasting of oils and local products, followed by atypical Ligurian lunch withtraditional appetizers,fresh homemade pasta orsecond of your choice, water and coffee (drinks not included).

After lunch we will have some free time: we can visit the village, buy local products or simplyrelax. We will start again in the afternoon to return to Santo Stefano al Mare following a panoramic route, or - if the group prefers - redoing thedirt among the olive trees, because some roads deserve an encore!

The activity lasts about 7 hours for a35 km route between sea, hills and Ligurian flavors.

Who is it for?

This activity is easy level and suitable as a first experience.

To drive the quad you must beat least 18 years and have a validB license (equivalent foreign licenses are also accepted). Childrenaged 12 and over can also travel as passengers.

The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
