An immersive journey to discover one of the most iconic and rare products in Liguria: the Chinotto of Savona, a protection of biodiversity and an identity symbol of the territory.
The experience takes place in a historic reality that preserves and enhances this excellence through a short supply chain and careful processing, between tradition and innovation. It is not a simple visit: it is a living story, made of citrus scents, ancient knowledge and agricultural resilience.
Did you know that “Since this is a product intended for candiing, Chinotto di Savona was sold by number and according to a fixed weight and diameter. The diameter was measured by passing the fruits through rings of different sizes.”
The experience: Guided tour of the farm.
It starts with a walk through the crops to get to know chinotto and other local citrus fruits up close. Here the story of the territory comes to life: rare varieties, cultivation techniques and the value of a production that resists over time.
Food and wine tasting
The experience continues with a guided tasting of artisanal jams and jams based on chinotto and citrus fruits, combined with selected cheeses. A sensory moment that enhances the contrasts between sweet, bitter and sapid, telling the story of Liguria through taste.
